In 2023, I designed and executed a key 20-foot mural for Disney’s feature film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip, directed by Marvin Lemus and starring Eva Longoria and Cheech Marin. The mural becomes the film’s pivotal visual conclusion, bringing the story full circle in a single, resonant image that mirrors the script’s emotional climax. 

To bring this vision to life, I carefully studied the script, collaborated intimately with director Marvin Lemus, and created multiple design iterations to ensure the mural fully realized the intended narrative arc. My role involved interpreting story themes into symbolism and composition that would read clearly on camera, while ensuring the final artwork supported the emotional resolution of the storyline.

Both the director and production team expressed enthusiastic approval, and the mural operates not just as scenic design, but as the main storytelling device integral to the film’s conclusive narrative.
